What is the Booster Club about? Minimize

The Cy-Creek FFA Booster Club supports the activities of the Cypress Creek FFA Chapter. The primary mission of the Booster Club is to provide funding for the barn facility housing students'  animal projects as well as scholarships to qualifying students completing their fall college semester. The Cypress Creek FFA Booster Club is designated a 509(a)(2) public charitable organization by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service with federal identification number 76-0581201. All contributions are deductible under section 170 of the IRS code. The FFA is a National Organization promoting premier leadership, personal growth and career success.

Each year the club provides between $2000 and $5000 to students fulfilling all scholarship requirements. Any senior having completed a year or more of Ag class is eligible to apply for the funding.
The club also financially supports the nearby animal project barn. The property is donated to the organization by Franklin Aire and includes a 4000+ square foot steel barn for the raising of steers, heifers, pigs, lambs and goats. Additional area is available for rabbits, turkeys and chickens. Electricity, maintenance and improvements to facility are paid by the Booster Club.
